Hello loves!

A few day’s ago, someone asked me what my favorite Western movies/music/books ect were…and I’ve had so much fun this morning picking out all of my favorites to share with you! I’m sure you know quite a few of them, but maybe there will be some new one’s you haven’t heard of yet!

Probably my favorite season is winter, and one of my favorite things after a long day working is starting a fire and turning on Tombstone or Lonesome Dove, making a good drink (it’s also always handy if you have a significant other to snuggle with!) and tucking up for the night!

I am still a total sucker for a good old fashioned western book, but I’ve also found some great new novels and biography’s….a lot of them through my “go-to” book mentor Waddie Mitchell!

As for music? It’s an ever-changing thing….but always with a good solid dose of old country, Ian and a little bit of Nickleback thrown in for good measure! :)

Down in the Valley, very arts'y...and totally one of my all time favorite VERY strange love story's :)

Gillian Welch and David Rawlings...these two seriously rock my world. The end.

Willie...how can you beat "Blue eye's crying in the rain?"

Don't laugh...my all time favorite thing to watch...CARTOONS! :) I know lame, but I still watch them on Saturday mornings and laugh like a dork. feel free to be amused!

Australia, with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman....are you noticing a theme with me and loving corny movies?!

Eddie Vedder. Enough said. (Liz, stop drooling!)

Two Mules for Sister Sara, this was one of the first "bad" movies I ever saw as a kid, and I couldn't imagine anything more awesome than a nun kicking butt in her habit with Clint :)

Blood on the Moon, Waddie gave me this book last year...and I have totally loved learning about Tom Horn, a great read if you are looking for something new!

It goes without saying, still one of my all-time favorites :)

New favorite, basically Colby Yates rocks my socks off :)

Hope you enjoyed this lil list loves! Let me know what you think!

Xoxo

  2. Loved your posting of 9/29! My favorite season is fall, it cool and the leaves are turning making most things beautiful. I’m not sure I have afavorite western movie, but on top of the list is “Angel and a Badman” and “She Wore a Yellow Ribbon.” Both starring John Wayne.
